MetLife’s Malaysia Center of Excellence Celebrates 5th Anniversary

Milestone reflects growth in operations, community activities

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global insurer MetLife celebrated the 5th anniversary of its Malaysia Center of Excellence (COE) on November 22, a key milestone reflecting growth in its hiring, operations, and community activities.

Over the past five years, the COE has expanded to a robust team of 230 professionals working across global finance, technology, and other functions to support MetLife’s Asia operations. MetLife first opened its COE in 2019 with 50 employees, attracted by the wealth of talent in Malaysia and the favorable business environment.

“The COE’s remarkable growth and success highlight the diverse capabilities Malaysia offers and the hard work and commitment of our associates, who consistently deliver exceptional results,” said COE Site Lead Dan Faline.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our employees, stakeholders, and partners for their unwavering support and collaboration. As we mark this significant milestone, we reflect on the journey that brought us here and look forward to a future filled with continued growth and innovation.”
