C Street Advisory Group Strengthens Senior Leadership with Shira D. Weiner as General Counsel and Michael J. Frishberg as Senior Advisor

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--C Street Advisory Group is excited to announce the addition of Shira D. Weiner as General Counsel and Michael J. Frishberg as Senior Advisor, reinforcing the firm’s leadership team and enhancing its capabilities.

Shira D. Weiner to Join as General Counsel

With over 25 years of experience in law, Shira D. Weiner will oversee C Street’s legal operations and Human Resources. Weiner’s extensive background includes providing best in class legal counsel and addressing complex risk and compliance issues.

Before joining C Street, Weiner served as Chief Counsel for the Business Services division of Kroll, LLC, where she guided executives and business leaders in the firm’s Restructuring Administration, Settlement Administration, Agency and Trustee Services, and Government Services business units. Weiner was also formerly an associate in the restructuring departments at leading law firms, including Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP, where she represented high-profile clients including American Airlines, Loral Space & Communications, and Harbinger Capital Partners, among others.

Weiner earned her J.D. cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and served as Managing Editor of the Cardozo Law Review. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Emory University.

Michael J. Frishberg to Serve as Senior Advisor

Michael J. Frishberg joins C Street as Senior Advisor, bringing his operational expertise and strategic insights to the firm’s leadership team. In his role, Frishberg will advise on key strategic and operational matters.

Previously, Frishberg served as the Global Chief Operating Officer of Kroll, where he focused on enhancing operational effectiveness across the organization. Frishberg co-founded Prime Clerk (now Kroll Restructuring Administration) in 2013 and played a pivotal role in the company’s acquisition by Kroll in 2019. He then led Kroll's Business Services division before transitioning to the role of Global COO. Prior to his tenure as Prime Clerk, Frishberg was a Partner in the Restructuring Group at Kirkland & Ellis.
