Comporium Selects Karl Skroban to Lead the Company’s Marketing, Media Services, and Video Strategy Teams

ROCK HILL, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Comporium is pleased to announce that Karl Skroban has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Marketing, Media Services, and Video Strategy.

In this role, Skroban is responsible for the development and implementation of Comporium’s overall marketing strategy. The company’s Media Services group, which provides the company’s digital marketing services for business customers, and DashHound, the company’s agency-focused service, will now report to Skroban as well. Skroban will continue to oversee video strategy and have direct responsibility for orchestrating media content.

Skroban graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism. He joined Comporium in 1997. He has held positions of increasing responsibility related to marketing and video strategy during his time with the company. In 2010, Skroban was promoted from Marketing Manager to Director of Video Content. He was promoted to Vice President, Media Content in 2015. That role was later expanded to Vice President of Video Strategy & Programming.

In addition to being active in the local community, Skroban works with the National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC). He has served with the group for years and been a member of its board since 2016. Skroban was elected as the board chairman earlier this year. NCTC makes purchasing and implementing innovative solutions easy and affordable for its 700-plus independent communications service provider members that connect one-third of all households and businesses throughout North America and U.S. territories.
