AM Best to Sponsor and Lead CEO Panel Session at ICMIF Biennial Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Rating Services Executive Director Matthew Mosher will moderate a CEO panel discussion at the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) Biennial Conference, which is scheduled for Nov. 12-15, 2024, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The panel session, titled “CEO Panel: Profits for Purpose,” looks at how purpose-driven and commercially minded mutual/cooperative insurers must effectively balance a commitment to having a meaningful impact on people and society while maintaining long-term financial stability. The panel will explore how ICMIF members can gain a competitive advantage by harnessing the power of purpose to drive performance and profitability. Joining Mosher on the panel will be Diego Guaita, CEO, Grupo San Cristóbal; Patrick Nyaga, group managing director and CEO, CIC Insurance Group; Barry O’Dwyer, group CEO, Royal London; and Ylva Wessén, president and CEO, Folksam. Mosher is responsible for AM Best’s rating services business. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 11:00 a.m. (ART).

The theme of the conference — “Collaborating with purpose” — will drive an agenda that focuses on prioritizing strategic issues around people, performance and partnerships to assist leaders in transforming their businesses for a resilient, purpose-led future.
