Everlaw Unveils the 2024 Summit Award Winners Spotlighting Legal Tech Leaders

OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Everlaw, the cloud-native investigation and litigation platform, announced the 2024 Everlaw Summit Award winners at Everlaw Summit, the company's annual, in-person experience for the greater ediscovery community.

The Everlaw Summit Awards highlight the inspiring work of innovative legal professionals. The 2024 winners are:

  • Corporate Breakthrough of the Year: For corporate legal departments transforming their approach to litigation and investigations in-house, won by Kiewit, represented by Catherine Damico.
  • Innovative Breakthrough of the Year in Generative AI: For leaders in ediscovery that are using technology in innovative ways, won by Edelson, represented by Chris Campbell and Andrew Schmidt.
  • Impact Agent of the Year: For paralegals and litigation support professionals making measurable impacts in their organizations, won by Kostantino Athanasopoulos of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
  • DEI Change Agent: For those demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion by mentoring the next generation of legal professionals, won by Jessica Wan of Ferguson Case Orr Paterson LLP.
  • Rising Star in Ediscovery: For professionals with seven years or less of legal experience whose early accomplishments distinguish them as future leaders in the profession, won by Jennifer Perkins of Adams & Reese LLP.
  • Everlaw for Good: For leaders in nonprofit and pro-bono legal services helping to level the playing field for justice by supporting low income populations, civil liberties, and human, civil, public, and environmental rights, won by Center for Justice & Accountability, represented by Claret Vargas and Daniel McLaughlin, and profiled in this blog post.
