Borene to Speak on Defending Businesses in a New Cold War Against Converging Hybrid Threats

He is a licensed attorney and a certified cybersecurity expert with more than 20 years of experience in counterterrorism, counterintelligence, national security, and advanced technology leadership in government and at Fortune 500 companies. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Borene also serves on the advisory board of the Special Operations Association of America (SOAA) and Europe’s Partnership for Peace Consortium.
Hansen’s extensive experience includes serving as a United States Air Force cyber intelligence officer and leading cyber threat intelligence operations for the National Security Agency’s Defensive Cyber Operations Directorate. Hansen’s other military assignments have focused on counterterrorism operations and asymmetric warfare and included a deployment to Iraq in support of a Navy SEAL team.
