CHINT Group: 2024 Ou River Summit Highlights Innovation and Cooperation in Green Energy and Power Systems

WENZHOU, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CHINT Group attends 2024 Ou River Summit, which opened in Wenzhou from October 18 to 19, under the theme of “Green Forward”. Government officials, scientists, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars, international organizations, and investors from around the world gathered together to discuss innovative strategies and cutting-edge technologies that promote sustainability and smart solutions for the development of electric power and green energy.

This summit aims to promote international cooperation on clean energy, new power systems, and technological innovation. The series of events launched during the summit, including forums, a startup competition and a 40^th-anniversary ceremony of enterprise.

Two Forums were held simultaneously, concentrating on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

At the Smart Energy Forum, experts and scholars discussed the technologies, innovations, and trends of wind power, photovoltaic and hydrogen energy to seek solutions for current challenges regarding energy optimization, market mechanisms and technical bottlenecks.

The Digital and Intelligent Power Forum focuses on cutting-edge issues, such as global energy transition and constructing new electric power systems. There was a consensus that it can not only improve energy utilization efficiency and optimize energy structure, but also promote the sustainable development of the energy system.

Another impressive event is the final of “CHINT Cup” Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. More than 20 teams from top universities and colleges globally have advanced to the final with their project cases in AI, blockchain, smart healthcare and other fields.

CHINT 40th Anniversary Celebration was also held during the summit. CHINT is a representative private enterprise established in Wenzhou, a coastal city in East China. It has gradually grown from a family workshop to an international enterprise engaged in the electricity and new energy industry over the past 40 years.
