The Mexico City office will serve regional customers, boost global operations, foster cross-region collaboration, and help develop new talent

MEXICO CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Udemy, a leading online skills marketplace and learning platform, today announced its plans to open a new office in Mexico City, Mexico. In response to the significant demand for personalized learning across Latin America (LATAM), the office will help Udemy better serve its growing base of over 1,000 customers currently in the region. The Mexico City office will also enable Udemy to scale operations, enabling the faster delivery of personalized, high-quality learning experiences to meet the evolving needs of organizations and professionals.

The new office in Mexico City represents a key milestone in the company's growth and follows the recent appointment of Bruno Barreto as Udemy’s Vice President of Sales for LATAM. • 2,200+ native-language courses offered as part of the Spanish Collection.
  • 2,000+ native-language courses offered as part of the Portuguese Collection.

“Organizations in Mexico are undergoing rapid digital transformation and are increasingly investing in skills development opportunities for their employees to stay ahead of the curve,” said Raphael Spinelli, Director of Enterprise Sales for LATAM at Udemy. “The new office in Mexico City underscores our commitment to serving the unique needs of our customers in Mexico and nearby markets while tapping into the region’s incredible talent and potential for innovation.”

The Mexico City office will serve as a hub for key functions including sales, marketing, design and creative, customer support, administration, product, and engineering. By aligning teams in closer proximity to their global customers, Udemy will be positioned to better anticipate client needs and deliver innovative solutions faster.
