Guzman Energy Hires Chase Whitney as VP of Power Supply

Wholesale Power Provider Expands Power Supply Group as Business Expands

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Guzman Energy, a wholesale power provider announced today the addition of Chase Whitney as VP of Power Supply, effective immediately.

Whitney brings extensive experience to the new role leading the Guzman Energy supply team in originating and contracting electric generating resources to serve the Guzman Energy portfolio of contracted customer loads.

Whitney brings 20 years of experience in the development and management of utility scale power supplies, including renewable energy projects in MISO, SPP, ERCOT and WECC. Whitney has previously served in business development, transaction, origination and supply roles at Avangrid Renewables, Community Energy, Invenergy and most recently Triple Oak Power where he served as VP of Business Development.

Whitney is a third generation Coloradan and passionate about his home state. Whitney volunteers as a Mission Pilot for the Civil Air Patrol and takes great pleasure in exploring the lands that make the Rocky Mountain West a wonderful place to live. Whitney resides in Denver, CO.
