AM Best to Sponsor and Present Insurance Market Briefing at APCIA Annual Meeting

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will host a market briefing on the state of the U.S. property/casualty and global reinsurance industries in conjunction with the American Property Casualty Insurers Association’s (APCIA) Annual Meeting, on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. CST at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk in Chicago.

At the market briefing, Greg Williams, senior director, and Greg Dickerson, director, both of AM Best, will discuss the current state of the personal and commercial lines segment of the U.S. property/casualty segment and global reinsurance markets, as well as preview 2025. Key topics will include the higher cost of capital, improved investment income and a look at general liability (GL) reserves. The event is open to APCIA attendees and will take place in the Ontario Room at the Sheraton Grand, the same location as the APCIA conference.
