The Suite Announces Hire of Ramya Sethuraman as First Chief Product Officer

Sethuraman, a former Meta engineer and product leader, brings deep community platform expertise

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Suite, a family of bespoke, invite-only communities for the C-suite, announced the addition of Ramya Sethuraman to its executive leadership team. Previously a seasoned engineer and then product leader at Meta, Sethuraman joins The Suite as its first Chief Product Officer, highlighting the company’s focus on its custom-built member platform, the Braintrust.

During her 11 years at Meta, Sethuraman held a succession of senior engineering and product roles. She established and was instrumental in steering product strategies that enhanced user engagement and community building on Facebook. Leading 0->1 product initiatives in Facebook’s News Feed, Communities and Growth, Sethuraman spearheaded improvements in how the Facebook platform connects members to relevant information, features and experiences.

Before transitioning to product leadership, Sethuraman was a senior software engineer at both IBM and Facebook. She has broad experience in applying AI and ML technologies to solving deep consumer and community platform problems, among other areas.

Under Sethuraman’s leadership, The Suite’s product and engineering teams will continue their mission of connecting community members to the right information and people at the right time. By leveraging a strong technological foundation, the Braintrust delivers an unparalleled executive experience, enabling members to solve their most challenging questions and build a trusted network of their closest peers.

Sethuraman earned her MS in Computer Science from University of Kentucky and Stanford School of Engineering's Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate. Sethuraman is also a prolific author, writing about product management on Medium and publishing her books on Amazon.
