This prestigious award recognizes Werner's unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in the transportation industry.

The SmartWay Excellence Award is the EPA’s highest recognition for demonstrated leadership in freight supply chain energy and environmental performance. This year’s award highlights Werner’s continuous efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, enhance fuel efficiency and implement innovative, eco-friendly practices across its operations. Werner was recognized in the following categories: large truckload/dry van, small flatbed and small intermodal-dray.
