GeoLinks Appoints Mark Funaki General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Accomplished business leader with extensive legal, M&A, and risk management experience joins leadership team and will oversee Company’s legal affairs and compliance functions.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GeoLinks, an enterprise-level telecommunications company, announced today that Mark Funaki has joined the company as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Funaki reports to interim CEO Melinda White and will oversee all legal affairs, including corporate governance, contract negotiations, risk management, and compliance, ensuring the Company’s operations align with its strategic growth objectives.

With more than 20 years of experience as a chief legal officer, Funaki is known for his ability to drive operational excellence and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives. He holds a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University.

Most recently, Funaki served as General Counsel of a public energy solutions provider, where he managed all legal affairs. Previously, he served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Jafra Cosmetics International, Inc., where he directed all legal matters for the corporate headquarters, global manufacturing, and U.S. sales operations, including the regulatory affairs and compliance teams.
