ZipRecruiter Launches ZipIntro to Connect Employers and Candidates Faster Than Ever

New tool accelerates face-to-face connections for a faster, more personal hiring experience

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following a successful beta program, ZipRecruiter®, a leading online employment marketplace, today fully launched ZipIntro, a new solution that accelerates face-to-face connections for a faster and more personal hiring experience.

With ZipIntro, job seekers can get matched to roles and have the opportunity to make a strong first impression in a video screening session. And employers can hire faster than ever before—with most employers receiving their first RSVP in under 20 minutes1.

Nearly two in three job seekers say they believe a video interview gives them a chance to showcase their personality and skills2, and most employers say they believe they would save a significant amount of time in their hiring process if they could quickly vet candidates over video3.

“The impact of human connection in the hiring process is more important than ever in today’s competitive job market. With ZipIntro, recruiters and hiring managers can forge those critical connections faster to assess the true potential of each candidate,” said Megan Allen, Senior Vice President of Product at ZipRecruiter. “For job seekers, we’re excited to provide them with the opportunity to speak with an employer faster, allowing them to showcase their true personality, soft skills, and passion.”

How ZipIntro Works

  • Pick a Time: Employers select a date and time to screen candidates.
  • Get Matched: Using AI, ZipIntro finds candidate matches for the role, and invites them to meet the employer at the pre-selected date and time.
  • Review RSVPs: Employers can review their RSVPs, browse candidate profiles and resumes, and refine their lineup for back-to-back video screening sessions.
  • Meet Face-to-Face: At the scheduled time, employers and candidates meet for quick, one-to-one video calls directly on the ZipRecruiter platform.

ZipIntro helps employers get 3x more quality candidates4, and employers who have tried it are already seeing results. “ZipIntro is a hiring time saver. I posted a job on Tuesday, talked to many candidates on Wednesday and Thursday, and then hired on Friday,” said Jennie Nagel of American Leak Detection of Tampa and Midwest Florida.

Job seekers are also seeing the power of ZipIntro, with more than 90% of those who connect with an employer saying they are likely to use ZipIntro again5.

ZipIntro is the latest innovation from ZipRecruiter to drive increased engagement and simplify the hiring process. This launch follows a wave of AI-powered enhancements by ZipRecruiter, including the use of conversational AI to recommend roles and craft stand-out resumes.
