Bojangles Elevates Your Tailgate with 11 Team-Themed Big Bo Boxes

Featuring Carolina Panthers’ special edition 30th anniversary box, plus in-game promotions with free food

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With college football officially underway and NFL games kicking off this weekend, tailgate season and Bojangles’ annual team-themed Big Bo Boxes are back and better than ever. This year, the iconic chicken, biscuits and tea chain is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its partnership as Tailgate HQ for the Carolina Panthers with a special edition Big Bo Box. Bojangles is also offering 10 college team-themed boxes and exciting in-game trigger promotions at select home games to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Bojangles is offering some exciting in-game rewards for fans throughout the football season.

  • South Carolina Gamecocks – When the Gamecocks score in the first half at home, all fans can enjoy a free Cajun Filet Biscuit by using the code "GAMECOCKS" in the Bojangles app.
  • Clemson Tigers – Fans can score a free Bo-Berry Biscuit the day after their team reaches 28 points by using the code "CLEMSON" at checkout.
  • Carolina Panthers – Panthers fans will win a free Cajun Filet Biscuit when the team scores 21 points, redeemable with the code "PANTHERS" in the app.

Bojangles will once again sell family meals in specially designed Big Bo Boxes, featuring Clemson University, Coastal Carolina University, East Carolina University, East Tennessee State University, James Madison University, North Carolina A&T University, University of Georgia, University of South Carolina, Western Carolina University, University of Tennessee and Bojangles’ NFL home team, the Carolina Panthers in its 30th anniversary edition. The team-themed Big Bo Boxes will be available at restaurants in each team’s primary market(s) while supplies last.

Families and football fans alike can elevate every day to gameday status with a Bojangles' family meal. Choose between a 12- or 20-piece meal with Bone-In Chicken or Chicken Supremes, paired with Southern fixin’s, made-from-scratch biscuits and a choice of Legendary Iced Tea® or Tropicana Lemonade, all served in a team-themed or classic yellow Big Bo Box.

As part of the celebration of tailgating season, Bojangles recently introduced an all-new menu item—Chicken Wings. These crispy, flavorful wings are the ultimate addition to any tailgate spread, available in Creamy Buffalo, BBQ or Classic and paired perfectly with Bojangles’ new House-made Ranch.
