SolarWinds Names Andre Cuenin Chief Revenue Officer

Former CRO at Veracode, Rapid7, and Cherwell Software to Accelerate Revenue Generation of World-Class Observability, Database, and Service Management Solutions Provider

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SolarWinds (NYSE:SWI), a leading provider of simple, powerful, secure observability and IT management software, has named Andre Cuenin as the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) effective Tuesday, September 3, 2024. In this role, Cuenin will oversee all aspects of revenue generation efforts for SolarWinds and its world-class observability, database, and service management solutions.

Cuenin is a seasoned IT and software sales executive with over 20 years of experience driving revenue growth strategies at some of the world’s largest and most respected technology companies. Most recently, he served as CRO of application security firm Veracode, where he expertly led sales strategy and drove growth in both the U.S. and international markets through an integrated go-to-market approach.

Cuenin joins SolarWinds as a key member of its executive team at a time of ongoing growth and transformation as the company continues to evolve its business, expand its product portfolio, and enhance its go-to-market strategy. The company’s AI-powered observability, service management, and database solutions are proven to help customers accelerate digital transformation efforts, increase productivity, and reduce costs by making it easier to manage today’s complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments. With a new subscription-first business model that continues to yield strong results, SolarWinds recently reported four consecutive quarters of year-over-year revenue growth.

“Andre Cuenin brings over 20 years of driving revenue for IT and software companies, including Veracode, Rapid7, Cherwell Software, Stratavia, and CA,” said Sudhakar Ramakrishna, SolarWinds President and CEO. “We are invigorated by his track record of results and excited for the path ahead.”

“SolarWinds has a legacy of simplifying the complexities the IT community faces,” said Cuenin. “As today’s hybrid and multi-cloud environments increase in complexity, customers need a partner to meet them where they are and accelerate their path to success. SolarWinds offers its customers the flexibility and breadth of visibility they need to compete and succeed.”

During his tenure as the CRO at Rapid7, Cuenin successfully guided the sales team through substantial growth by shifting its focus from product-oriented to platform-oriented sales. Before that, he served as the CRO for the IT service management company Cherwell Software, where he led the sales team through a period of growth and successfully managed the transition to a subscription-based business model. Cuenin believes in aligning go-to-market efforts to maximize impact and deliver exceptional customer value. His business acumen and technical expertise have enabled him to simplify complexities and develop highly effective sales strategies.
