JLC attorneys continue to earn top marks from peers

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Six Jordan, Lynch and Cancienne attorneys are among the best in their profession, having earned a place on The Best Lawyers in America list for 2025.

All six are repeat honorees in the peer-reviewed guide, which is viewed among the most unbiased, reliable sources of legal leaders.

It is the fifth time JLC partners Kevin Jordan, Walter Lynch and Michael Cancienne have made the list. Mr. Jordan and Mr. Cancienne were recognized for excellence in commercial litigation, and Mr. Lynch was honored for personal injury defense.

Joining them on The Best Lawyers in America list is Susan K. Thomas, who is of counsel with the firm. Ms. Thomas, who was honored for her work in commercial litigation, was recognized for the fourth time.

Partners Caroline Carter and Jeb Golinkin were named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, which spotlights lawyers with five to nine years of experience. Ms. Carter and Mr. Golinkin, who were recognized for their work in commercial litigation, have been on the list since 2021.

“We always strive to serve our clients, first and foremost, but it is gratifying that our attorneys continue to earn this recognition from our peers,” said Mr. Jordan. “We are proud that the work we do continues to be recognized by other top lawyers in our field.”
