Pacific Textiles Selects Blue Yonder To Elevate Warehouse Strategy

Leading textile manufacturer will implement Blue Yonder Warehouse Management to meet the increased complexity and volume of its warehouse transactions

HONG KONG & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One of the critical links in the supply chain for fast fashion is textile manufacturing. Textile manufacturers’ warehouse operations often face challenges of handling massive throughput while also managing fast, slow, and non-moving inventory. These challenges can lead to storage issues, damage to products, and difficulties in managing inventory. That’s why Pacific Textiles has selected to deploy Blue Yonder Warehouse Management to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and agility in its warehouse operations. The project will be implemented by AC2 WAVE, a Blue Yonder partner.

Pacific Textiles is a leading manufacturer of textile products, specializing in the production of knitted fabrics. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, the company has established a strong reputation for delivering high volumes of high-quality products to clients worldwide. Its focus on developing innovative products and commitment to environmentally sustainable manufacturing has enabled it to become a trusted partner for global brands in the fashion and apparel industry. Pacific Textiles was looking to replace a legacy system that could no longer support the increased complexity and volume of warehouse transactions. Additionally, with the need to integrate with many external systems, the company was seeking a modern warehouse management solution, so it turned to the industry leader, Blue Yonder.

With Blue Yonder Warehouse Management, Pacific Textiles will be able to:

  • Gain real-time visibility into its warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately.
  • Make data-driven decisions that improve its bottom line.
  • Streamline supply chain processes, reduce operational costs, and improve service levels to meet the evolving demands of its customers.
  • Easily integrate with external systems, such as material handling equipment (MHE), real-time location systems (RTLS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Gain efficiencies, integration, and scalability of its warehouse operations.

“We knew we needed a modern warehouse management solution that can scale with our business. The recent opening of a new factory in Vietnam will increase the complexity of our operations. Additionally, as we seek to gain operational efficiencies through automation, we needed an agile platform that allows for easy integration. We selected Blue Yonder due to their robust, scalable, and integrated Warehouse Management solutions. Blue Yonder's reputation for innovation and its proven track record of successful implementations across various industries were key factors in our decision,” said Hubert Tsang, CIO, Pacific Textiles.

Blue Yonder Warehouse Management will allow Pacific Textiles to optimize its warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, compliance, and the highest customer service level across the logistics and replenishment execution processes.

“As a leading textile manufacturer, Pacific Textiles’ supply chain is a critical enabler of the company's future growth, as it will drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives. With Blue Yonder Warehouse Management, Pacific Textiles will be able to create a strategy that focuses on leveraging advanced technology to create a more agile, efficient, and responsive supply chain that can adapt to market dynamics and customer needs. We are looking forward to working with Pacific Textiles on this and future projects,” said Antonio Boccalandro, president, APAC, Blue Yonder.
