TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Q Cantar Holdings Inc. ("QVest") today announces the following appointment effective immediately.

Mr. Rana Chauhan into the role of President

• Rana Chauhan is appointed President. As a key member of the executive team Mr. Chauhan will be instrumental in QVest’s vision, mission and direction. This includes market developments, creating strategies, increasing brand awareness, creating and maintaining sales plans and maintaining customer and advisor relations. In addition, Mr. Chauhan is a member of the Product Development Committee (PDC), Business Development Committee (BDC), Operations Compliance & Governance Committee (OCG) and the Investment Management Committee (IMC) coordinating and keeping the committees informed, as well as conveying QVest’s philosophies and guidelines to internal staff. Mr. Chauhan will work closely with the Private Wealth & Asset Management Group, maintaining and expanding awareness, developing and fostering QVest’s brand and standards.

• Rana Chauhan is appointed a Director of QVest. As a longstanding leader, Mr. Chauhan brings to QVest strong governance and investment practices to further promote the success of QVest. Mr. Chauhan has an Ivey EMBA and a MSc. Finance from the University of London, UK. Mr. Rana’s stellar background, work ethics and entrepreneurial spirit along with his involvement with QVest as the President, will enable the board to ensure QVest’s obligations are fulfilled. Mr. Chauhan will be involved with strategic and operational decisions and will be integral in compliance and governance matters.
