AArete Appoints Michael Davison as Chief Financial Officer

Promotion follows successful career with AArete and the retirement of former CFO & COO Skip Behm

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AArete, a leading global management and technology consulting firm, announced the appointment of Michael Davison as Chief Financial Officer. Promoted to CFO after serving as vice president of finance over the last five years, Mike will report to AArete CEO Loren Trimble and serve on the senior leadership team.

While serving as vice president of finance, Mike managed the AArete finance and accounting teams, modernized the firm’s financial reporting systems, and helped steward the organization’s growth. Mike joined AArete in 2019 and has more than 25 years of financial experience in optimizing operating plans and driving company performance.

Before joining AArete, he spent 18 years with The Boston Consulting Group as an affiliate controller and senior manager. Mike also served as CFO of Grenzebach, Glier & Associates, which is now part of Huron Consulting, and spent several years as an independent corporate financial consultant. Mike holds a Kellogg Executive MBA in Management from Northwestern University, an MBA with a concentration in Finance from DePaul University, and a B.S. degree in Accounting from Valparaiso University. He serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Polaris Charter Academy in Chicago.

In his new role, Mike will succeed Skip Behm, who previously served as AArete CFO & COO. Skip retired from his role on July 1, 2024. He will remain with the firm serving as an advisor and board member.
