StatLab Expands Operational Footprint in Europe

StatLab furthers its global expansion with the launch of a 30,000-square-foot manufacturing and office building at its Newtown, Wales site.

MCKINNEY, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--StatLab Medical Products (“StatLab”) a leading manufacturer of medical diagnostic supplies and equipment, celebrates a significant expansion at their Wales campus. Since the acquisition of CellPath by StatLab in 2022, substantial investments to increase manufacturing capacity and efficiency have positioned CellPath to meet ambitious growth targets. This expansion represents a commitment to empower the Newtown site to support growth in European markets, accommodating increased manufacturing volume and product support teams to ensure the best possible customer experience.

The new 30,000-square-foot facility combines manufacturing, warehousing, and office spaces under one roof, with former buildings being repurposed to meet the growing demand of the CellNass tissue archival service. During the launch day, visitors toured the new, state-of-the-art injection molding production areas and high-tech customer experience laboratory featuring a wide variety of histology equipment showcasing the full workflow of products and equipment supported.
