Dean Omar Branham Shirley Trial Attorneys Honored by National Legal Guide

Lawdragon lists four firm lawyers on its 500 X – The Next Generation 2024 guide

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The renowned trial firm Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP, is pleased to announce that four of its attorneys have been named among the nation’s most talented young lawyers in Lawdragon’s 500 X – The Next Generation guide for 2024.

The publication describes the honorees featured as “the future leaders of law.” The national legal guide selected attorneys Jordan Bollinger, Aaron D. Chapman, Rachel A. Gross and Sam Iola for work in plaintiff litigation.

“Each of our attorneys listed understands that our work makes an impact in the lives of our clients,” says managing partner Trey Branham. “They take seriously the duty we have to hold bad actors to account.”

Lawdragon selected the firm’s attorneys for their plaintiffs work touting litigation excellence in asbestos-related matters.

Ms. Bollinger has more than nine years of litigation experience. Last year, her work contributed to a $29 million South Carolina jury verdict in 2023.

Mr. Chapman's litigation experience includes winning the largest asbestos-related personal injury verdict in the state of Nevada in 2021.

Ms. Gross second-chaired a Wisconsin case that resulted in a jury verdict of more than $26 million on behalf of a family of a mesothelioma victim against Pabst Brewing Co. The Wisconsin Court of Appeals recently rejected the company’s appeal and increased the award by $13 million.

Mr. Iola is known for successfully trying talcum powder cases against cosmetics corporations and is well-versed in the history of such litigation. He appeared in the HBO Max documentary “Not So Pretty” in 2022.

Lawdragon says the list casts our eyes “to the future and the amazing promise it holds as a generation of legal elders cede the stage.” The 2024 guide can be viewed here.

Widely known for successfully going up against some of the largest corporations in the world, Dean Omar Branham Shirley recently obtained a $260 million asbestos-related verdict against Johnson & Johnson.
