The Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich Has Arrived at Subway® Canada Just in Time for National Ice Cream Day

Beat the summer heat at Subway® Canada with the all-new Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich, a sweet treat, perfect for any occasion.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Subway Canada is introducing a new summer treat - Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches. To celebrate National Ice Cream Day on July 21, Canadians can indulge in this sweet sensation for $3.49* at Subway restaurants for a limited time, while supplies last. The special treat will be exclusively available in restaurants only.

Courtney Hindorff, Managing Director of Subway Canada, stated, “At Subway, we are committed to making new and exciting updates to our menu to delight our fans. The Summer of Footlong has begun and with things heating up, we’re certain that this frozen treat will sell out from coast-to-coast-to-coast!”

Subway’s cookies were voted the number one QSR cookie by Canadians last year**. This new treat features creamy vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two of Subway’s signature chewy Chocolate Chunk cookies. This classic, crave-worthy treat is perfect for warm summer days and pairs well with your favourite footlong sub.

"The new ice cream cookie sandwiches are everything Canadians already love about our classic cookies, but with a twist to celebrate summer," said Samara Foisy, Director of Menu Strategy and Innovation at Subway Canada. "They’re soft and chewy, and the cool vanilla ice cream is the perfect pair for the rich chocolate chunks. We can’t wait for you to try it!"

Whether you grab the Ice Cream Cookie sandwich as a midday treat or enjoy it as the perfect end to your Subway meal, it’ll only be available for a limited time, so be sure to visit your local Subway restaurant to get it while it’s cold!
