Capital Markets Partner Rachel Han Joins Dorsey in Hong Kong

HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rachel Han has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Capital Markets group in Hong Kong, the law firm announced today.

“Rachel has over a decade of experience representing China-based companies and underwriters in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and secondary offerings, and public company disclosure and compliance work,” said Janet Wong, Head of Dorsey’s Hong Kong office. “We are thrilled that Rachel is joining our office and bringing her wealth of experience, further strengthening our strategic international capabilities.”

As a market leader in Dorsey’s capital markets practice, Rachel serves the Firm’s Asian-based clients in both Hong Kong and the U.S. Rachel’s practice focuses on equity capital markets, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisition transactions. She also has extensive experience in general commercial work. Rachel’s clients engage in various industries including consumer, infrastructure and construction, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive, renewable energy, investment, and financial services. Before joining Dorsey, Rachel was a partner at Dentons Hong Kong.

Rachel received her Bachelor of Commerce & Law from University of Melbourne.

Rachel’s arrival further strengthens Dorsey’s U.S.-China practice and existing capital markets practice in the U.S. and Hong Kong. She joins Dorsey’s bilingual equity capital markets lawyers Megan Penick and Jia Song in Dorsey’s New York office, as well as Jason Lin in Beijing office, to provide bilingual, bicultural, and responsive service to Dorsey’s Asia-based clients seeking access to U.S. and Hong Kong capital markets.
