Two Lyons & Simmons Trial Attorneys Named to Lawdragon Next Generation List

Michael Fechner, Mackenzie Howard honored among law’s ‘future leaders’

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Attorneys Michael Fechner and Mackenzie Howard of the trial law firm Lyons & Simmons have been recognized among the Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation for 2024.

Next Generation recognizes “future leaders of the law” who are poised to make a significant impact in their chosen field of expertise, according to the Lawdragon research team. Fechner and Howard were selected based on their work in Plaintiff Personal Injury cases, with Fechner receiving additional recognition for Business Litigation.

This is the second consecutive selection to the Next Generation list for Fechner, who has obtained favorable judgments, arbitration awards and settlements for plaintiffs in complex catastrophic personal injury cases and complex business disputes throughout Texas and the nation. In late 2022, Fechner was part of a trial team that secured the second largest healthcare liability verdict in Texas and a Top 100 verdict nationally. A member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, his work has also been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. He also serves as an integral part of BridgeBuilders, a non-profit organization serving South Dallas residents.

This is the first Next Generation selection for Howard, whose practice is dedicated to representing victims and families in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
