Origin Specialty Acquires AIMS, Agricultural-Focused MGU

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Origin Specialty Underwriters Agency, LLC (“Origin Specialty”), an expansive Managing General Underwriter (“MGU”) leader in innovative risk solutions and partner company of Beyond Risk, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Agricultural Insurance Management Services, LLC (“AIMS”), an agribusiness insurance-focused MGU. This acquisition supports the Beyond Risk mission to partner with exceptional teams and markets to offer our clients diverse program underwriting and alternative risk financing solutions.

Industry veteran Clark Lindley founded AIMS to address the need for quality agribusiness insurance solutions. In 2000, Clark began underwriting policies in-house while expanding AIMS’ agricultural agent network. Today, AIMS is an agribusiness-focused MGU providing exceptional insurance solutions to farms, ranches, equine operations, estate farms, and commercial growers of agricultural products. AIMS offers a variety of farm-related coverages, including homes, barns, farm equipment, auto, and liability.
