American Water to Contribute Expertise to Panel at the 2024 MACRUC Annual Conference

CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., announced today that it will participate in the 2024 Mid-America Conference of Regulatory Utilities Commissioners (MACRUC), which will take place June 23rd through June 26th in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mark McDonough, President, New Jersey American Water, will participate in a lunch and learn session titled Hot Topics and Debates: Water Utilities and Alphabet Soup? McDonough and other experts will talk about the recent PFAS Final Rule.

MACRUC supports the improvement of public utility regulation and the related interests of its members in the regulatory, legislative, and policy areas, in line with the public utility commissions of the MACRUC member states.
