WiSA Certifies Buchardt’s High-End Sub10 Wireless Subwoofer, Reinforcing Excellence in Audio Performance

This is Danish manufacturer Buchardt’s 4th speaker to receive WiSA HT interoperability certification

BEAVERTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WiSA Association, a subsidiary of WiSA Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WISA), announced today that Association member Buchardt Audio’s Sub10 high-performance, long throw, low-profile subwoofer, has earned WiSA HT Interoperability Certification. The new solution strengthens Buchardt Audio’s WiSA Certified wireless speaker catalog which includes the A500 monitor, the Anniversary 10 monitor and the A700 tower and provides enthusiasts with a versatile and powerful subwoofer to solidify the lower octaves of their home listening experience.

WiSA HT interoperability certification signifies that the Sub10 has undergone significant and thorough testing to ensure proper operation and interoperability with transmitters and other speakers using WiSA HT technology. WiSA HT allows audio products to transmit and receive uncompressed, 24-bit 48/96 kHz sound over a discrete multi-channel wireless network created by the products themselves and not relying on external Wi-Fi components.

During the design of the Sub10, an enormous amount of focus was placed on perfecting the subwoofer driver itself. The driver was then paired perfectly with its enclosure and Hypex amplifier. App-controlled DSP functions including Room Correction, Manual EQ, and variable LLE slider were added for flexibility and control. Combining these features with WiSA HT wireless interoperability resulted in a subwoofer system that adapts to any environment to provide extremely high levels of performance with the convenience and robustness of WiSA connectivity.
