Pixelle Launches PAPERVERSITY Educational Seminars

Hands-on sessions at Pixelle paper mills provide an immersive look at the science behind papermaking and performance.

SPRING GROVE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pixelle Specialty Solutions (“Pixelle”), a leading manufacturer of specialty papers in North America, launched the PAPERVERSITY educational program at its Stevens Point, Wisconsin and Chillicothe, Ohio paper mills in April and May 2024. These exclusive on-site, invitation-only events brought together over 70 attendees representing more than 30 Pixelle customers from across the printing, publishing, packaging, and specialty paper industries.

PAPERVERSITY provides a firsthand look into paper manufacturing processes and an in-depth understanding of the science, technology and performance attributes of paper. During the two-day sessions, attendees gained valuable insights through interactive workshops, hands-on lab activities, and personalized mill tours led by Pixelle's technical experts.

The program illustrates Pixelle’s commitment to supporting the future growth of paper-based products. Pixelle will continue to offer PAPERVERISTY programs to facilitate greater collaboration and education across the industry. Additional dates have not yet been announced.
