James Campbell Company Announces Appointment of Beatrice Hsu to Its Board of Directors

HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE)--James Campbell Company LLC (JCC), a $5.0 billion, nationally diversified real estate company based in Hawaii, announced today that Beatrice Hsu has been appointed to serve on its Board of Directors, effective May 10, 2024.

Ms. Hsu brings to the board 25 years of experience in large-scale, high complexity commercial real estate development, strategic planning, government affairs and executive management. She is currently the principal of BCH Group, a real estate investments and development advisory in Los Angeles.

Ms. Hsu was previously executive vice president of Brookfield Properties, with oversight of urban residential and mixed-use development throughout California and Hawaii. She was also previously senior vice president, development and forward planning for Related Companies, a full-service real estate firm specializing in urban infill development, including affordable housing, mixed income housing, public-private projects, and commercial mixed-use development.

Ms. Hsu has extensive board experience, including service on the Planning Program Advisory Board of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, and as vice chair of the City of Los Angeles Industrial Development Authority. She was recently the interim CEO and president of the board of the Los Angeles World Airports, where she was responsible for $2 billion in annual operating revenues and overall operations of Los Angeles International (LAX) and Van Nuys (VNY) airports.

Ms. Hsu has been twice recognized by Bisnow as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in LA Commercial Real Estate and named one of 50 Women to Watch for Boards. Ms. Hsu earned her bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Yale University.
