Fast Company Names Kaplan’s All Access License as a Winner in its 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fast Company has named Kaplan’s All Access License as a winner in its 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards, in the Large Business: 1,000+ Employees category. Kaplan’s All Access License, launched in 2022, enables colleges and universities to help their students prepare for a variety of high-stakes admissions and licensing exams that they need to score well on to reach their professional goals — with zero out-of-pocket costs for students. When a school makes the investment in Kaplan’s career path-changing offering, students can take a number of test prep courses for free, including for the GRE®, GMAT®, LSAT®, MCAT®, DAT®, bar exam, USMLE®, INBDE®, and NCLEX-RN® exam. Additionally, students can prepare for a number of business and financial-focused products at no cost to them.

Kaplan has prepared students for standardized tests for more than 85 years, and among its All Access License partners are Cleveland State University, Xavier University of Louisiana, Howard University, Delaware State University, Talladega College, Stillman College, Fisk University, Hampton University, Spelman College, Alabama A&M University, University of Detroit Mercy, and Rutgers Law School. Cleveland State University, among Kaplan’s first partners, reports outstanding results and most recently extended the offering to alumni.

“Kaplan’s All Access License closes the opportunity gap by letting colleges and universities provide our best-in-class test prep to their students at no cost to them or their families. One particular point of pride is that half of all students using All Access are underserved minorities, first generation college students, or students from low income families, helping to improve career outcomes and diversify industries from law to medicine to finance, and more,” said Gregory Marino, CEO, Kaplan North America. “Thank you to Fast Company for this recognition and understanding that as leaders in education, we need to provide as many students as possible with an equal shot at both educational attainment and career readiness.”

In 2023, Kaplan was named to Fast Company’s prestigious Brands That Matter list, which honors organizations that have demonstrated cultural relevance and impact through compelling branding and efforts that naturally extend their presence into the communities they serve. Specifically, Kaplan was included in the list’s General Excellence category, as one of 13 brands that are working to build a better future.

This year’s World Changing Ideas Awards showcase 50 winners, 127 finalists, and 172 honorable mentions — with health, education, energy, and AI among the most popular categories. A panel of Fast Company editors and reporters selected winners from a pool of more than 1,300 entries.
