Pacific Life Named by Points of Light as One of America’s 50 Most Community-Minded Companies for Third Consecutive Year

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pacific Life has been named a national 2024 Civic 50 honoree by Points of Light, acknowledging it as one of the 50 most community-minded companies in the United States. The Civic 50 sets the standard for corporate citizenship and showcases how leading companies are moving social impact and community to the core of their businesses.

This is the third consecutive year Pacific Life has been recognized by Points of Light, which honors companies based on four dimensions of their corporate citizenship and social impact programs, including investment of resources and volunteerism, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies, and systems and impact measurement.

“We are deeply invested in our people, customers and communities,” said Pacific Life President and CEO Darryl Button. “Building on our culture of ethics and commitment to our clients, their families, and our collective future, we understand the importance of giving back. We believe that by doing the right thing, we are strengthening Pacific Life’s long-term value while also improving our local communities.”

“Expectations for companies to be leaders in civic engagement continue to increase,” said Jennifer Sirangelo, president, and CEO, Points of Light. “Pacific Life demonstrates how to maximize the full range of their assets – from people power to policy to financial contributions – to meet pressing needs and create thriving communities where they live and work. We’re thrilled to uplift and celebrate them as an honoree of The Civic 50 2024.”
