Coca-Cola Beverages Florida Recognized as a US Best Managed Company, Third Consecutive Year

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is proud to announce it has been selected as a 2024 US Best Managed company. Now in its fifth year, the award, sponsored by Deloitte* Private and The Wall Street Journal, recognizes the achievements of U.S. private companies and the successes of their management teams. In 2022, Coke Florida became the only Coca-Cola bottler to earn the designation of a US Best Managed Company, making 2024 the third consecutive year it has received the honor.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized again as a US Best Managed Company,” said Troy Taylor, chairman and chief executive officer of Coke Florida. “Our success formula is rooted in investing continuously in our operations, striving to be our customers’ best partner, focusing on providing a great working environment for our associates, and supporting the communities where we operate.”

Private companies selected for the US Best Managed recognition are evaluated on four areas, strategy, execution, culture, and governance and financial performance. “Coke Florida is extremely proud of the culture it has developed in the short nine years it has been in business. Positive feedback from the company’s recent engagement survey was highlighted in the application,” David Cross, senior vice president, human resources and administration for Coke Florida shared.

“One of our stated goals is to be an employer of choice across the state of Florida. We know that to achieve this, consistency matters. Being recognized over the last three years is a proof point that reinforces our commitment to our associates, our people leaders, and the culture we strive to create. It’s achievements like being recognized as a US Best Managed Company that show we are on our way to being a best-in-class company.” Cross added, “It takes great leaders, committed associates, and the right investments in their capabilities and development to truly sustain this type of performance and be recognized three times in our nine years of existence.”

US Best Managed Companies is part of a global Deloitte Private program. Honorees are selected by an external panel of judges who evaluate applicants based on strategy, ability to execute, culture, and governance and financial performance. They join an ecosystem of organizations from more than 44 countries.
