OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best has enhanced Best’s Underwriting Reports and Best’s Loss Control Reports with environmental, social and governance (ESG) scores sourced from MSCI, which identifies the ESG key issues that are most material to an industry. These scores indicate associated aggregate risk based on the interaction of key ESG issues affecting the core business activities within the report’s industry.

MSCI ESG Scores include an:

  • ESG Description, which shows the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) classification.
  • ESG Risk Intensity Score, a quantitative assessment of an industry’s ESG risk.
