Acrisure Launches Dedicated Life and Health Business Under Wholesure Division

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acrisure, a global Fintech leader, today announced the formation of a newly dedicated Life and Health business segment that will fall under the Company’s recently announced Wholesure division. Wholesure comprises Acrisure’s P&C wholesale lines of business and now expands to include Life and Health.

The Life and Health segment will bring together numerous Acrisure Partners specializing in Life, Disability, Accident and Health, Enrollment Services and Employee Benefits TPA services. This group will work in lockstep with other partners within the Wholesure division to enhance Acrisure’s comprehensive market offerings, both internally and externally, with third-party retailers.

Seth Denson, who serves as Head of Employee Benefits for Acrisure’s retail business, has been appointed to the additional role as lead of the Life and Health Business. Denson has over 24 years of experience specializing in the employee benefits and risk management space, helping clients prioritize and solve risk related issues within their portfolios. Denson has had numerous leadership roles within Acrisure, helping the Company shape its employee benefits strategy and product offering.

The Life and Health business will be comprised of three distinct groups, including:

• Life & Disability: which includes organizations specializing in life & DI solutions both as wholesalers and retailers
• Administrative Services: which will encompass Acrisure’s enrollment firms and employee benefit TPA's
• Specialty Placement: which will consist of Acrisure’s employee benefits GA's, stop loss GA's, and Health Reinsurance MGU
  

These three practice areas will be led by the following leaders:

• Laura Muka, Life & Disability Practice Leader
• Tye Elliot, Administrative Services Practice Leader
• Bob Croom, Specialty Placement Practice Leader

The leadership within the Life and Health team is predominantly comprised of principals from businesses Acrisure has acquired over the years, following Acrisure’s culture of building a business of like-minded entrepreneurs to serve clients better holistically. Matt Riordan will serve as Growth Leader for the Life and Health group and will work closely with the leadership team to develop strategic growth initiatives.
