S&B Names Greg Hafer as Chief Commercial Officer

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--S&B, a leading engineering and construction firm serving the oil and gas and chemicals industries, announced Greg Hafer as its Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Hafer will lead the commercial development efforts, aligning the company’s strengths with customers’ needs.

Mr. Hafer has nearly 40 years of engineering, procurement, and construction experience, starting his career in nuclear power. He has been an integral part of the S&B team for more than three decades. After starting at S&B as a Piping Engineer in 1992, Mr. Hafer has progressively held key positions within the company, including Mechanical Department Head, Manager of Proposals, Vice President of Business Development, and most recently, Senior Vice President of Commercial. He has driven S&B's business development efforts throughout his tenure, led strategic initiatives, and contributed significantly to the company's expansion and success in target markets.

Mr. Hafer earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. He currently serves on the board of the Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC) Association.
