Telliris Announces Version 2.8.3 and 2.9.0 with Long Term Support up to 2032

New Version Release Date - 2024-01-31

SHELTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Telliris, a leading provider of IVR solutions for workforce management and time & attendance announced it has released Telliris Attend version 2.8.3 which features Long Term Support (LTS) to 2029 and Telliris Attend version 2.9.0 which features Long Term Support (LTS) to 2032.

Telliris Attend version 2.8.3 is a natural progression of version 2.8.x which was initially released in July of 2020. Telliris Attend version 2.9.0 has new features such as Secure Calling (encryption) and further enhancements to Telliris Monitoring and Alerts (TMA) which is used by Network Operation Centers (NOC’s). Both versions are built to have an exceptionally long life.

Organizations strive to keep their IT environment up to date to both ensure high uptime as well as maximize data security. Unlike consumer products which have a short to medium term lifecycle, software solutions for the enterprise greatly benefit by a long life cycle. Telliris Attend was first released in 2002 and the longest term customers are approaching 25 years. Telliris is built from the top down to operate for long periods of time with near zero administration. The new versions with support until 2029 / 2032 (v2.8.x and v2.9.x respectively) are in accord with this overall strategy.

From an appearance and usage perspective there are minimal changes between version 2.8.3 and version 2.9.0. Retraining is not necessary. Organizations interested in the newest features and/or the longest term support will find v2.9.0 favorable. Otherwise v2.8.3 is more than adequate to meet the needs of organizations of all sizes. Both versions use the Telliris “one step install process” which takes a new server / VM and loads all software in 10 to 15 minutes so it is ready to accept inbound calls. The one step install along with utilities and documentation make it a routine process which is greatly appreciated by the Telliris channel partner community. Telliris products are sold, installed, and maintained by channel partners that provide it alongside their workforce management, human capital management, and time and attendance products.

"Telliris recognized a strong desire for Long Term Support by its channel partners and their end-customers many years ago," said Mark Nickson, Managing Director at Telliris. "Our products are in the telecommunications space and are expected to have a long lifecycle.” With the new versions, HR and IT departments have a solution that’s “good to go” for many years.
