New DAVCO Fuel Pro® 499 Model Expands Line-up of Fuel/Water Separators

Designed for Class 8 Trucks, Fuel Pro 499 Delivers Better Engine Protection, Uptime

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DAVCO Technology, the North American leader in diesel fuel water separators and diesel fuel filtration systems, has introduced its new Fuel Pro® 499 model diesel fuel/water separator for Class 8 trucks. The new model features a higher filtration capacity which helps increase overall engine protection and improve uptime. The announcement came at a press conference held by DAVCO-parent Clarience Technologies at ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council in New Orleans.

The new DAVCO Fuel Pro® 499 increases diesel fuel filtration capacity by nearly 70% when compared to previous models, leading to both improved engine protection as well as better uptime due to less frequent service requirements. Additionally, DAVCO designed the Fuel Pro® 499 to provide in-operation return fuel heat, which makes this product ideal for vehicles operating in extreme weather conditions, providing reliable performance when it matters most.

DAVCO has incorporated its Seeing is Believing® technology into the new model which provides drivers with the ability to see when their fuel filter truly needs replacement, reducing maintenance cost and minimizing downtime. Additionally, the model features Elemax® filter technology which maximizes filter life by forcing fuel to the lowest point of unused media area, optimizing its efficiency and driving more engine uptime.
