Hovde Group Adds to Equity Research and Institutional Sales Platforms with Industry Veterans Brendan Nosal and Ashley Griffith

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hovde Group, LLC (“Hovde”), a leading full-service investment bank and broker dealer that provides investment banking, capital markets, equity research, and sales and trading services focused on the financial services sector, today announced that it has added Brendan Nosal to its Equity Research Group and Ashley Griffith to its Institutional Equity Sales Group.

Nosal will join Head of Research Brett Rabatin, Directors David Bishop, Nick Cucharale, and Erik Zwick in equity research and work primarily on coverage of Midwest banks in the coming months. Nosal will be based in Verona, New Jersey and has a strong track record in equity research, having covered banks for more than 10 years at Piper Sandler and the acquired firm Sandler O’Neill.

Griffith will be based in New Jersey and has worked in Equity Sales for over 20 years, most recently with Compass Point Research & Trading, LLC.
