LEER Group Announces Sponsorship with Thad Moffitt #46, 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Newcomer

ELKHART, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Truck Accessories Group, LLC d/b/a Leer Group is proud to announce a collaboration with Thad Moffitt, #46 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, as a 2024 LEER brand ambassador. This is Thad’s first appearance in the Fresh Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway, where he will debut a Chevy Silverado with the truck bed designed to showcase a LEER hard folding truck bed cover. Thad’s team at Petty’s Garage reached out to LEER for a truck bed cover to outfit Richard Petty’s new limited edition “Chevy Silverado High Country Package”. The Petty family has previously chosen popular LEER products for their Chevy Silverado trucks. Born into a racing dynasty, Thad fell in love with racing at 8 years old, as he joined his grandfather Richard Petty at the Winner’s Circle to congratulate his driver’s success. Thad asked, "Can that be me someday?" His family legacy at the Daytona International Speedway begins with his great grandfather Lee Petty, who won the first Daytona 500 in 1959. Grandfather Richard Petty won the Daytona 500 seven times. In 2024, NASCAR celebrates 76 years; the Petty family has been involved in NASCAR for 75 of these 76 years.
