Olympia Coffee Opening in U.S. Bank Center’s Cedar Hall in Mid-2024

Marks Beloved Coffee Roaster’s First-Ever Downtown Seattle Location

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EQ Office, Blackstone’s U.S. office portfolio company, today announced Olympia Coffee will open its first downtown location at U.S. Bank Center (USBC). The award-winning coffee roaster will be located along the mid-block of 5th Avenue in USBC’s Cedar Hall, a buzzing new street-level public retail experience in downtown Seattle.

The newest location of Olympia Coffee will offer customers a convenient and lively downtown location to enjoy the roasters’ award-winning coffee and unique cafe experience, steps away from other area retail and dining.

"We’ve designed USBC’s Cedar Hall with the intention of bringing in locally-loved vendors for our tenants and the downtown community to enjoy. With Seattle’s serious coffee culture and Olympia’s high-quality offering, we think they are a great fit for our customer base and the environment we’re building,” said Zach Zaborowski, Senior Vice President, Market Lead – Pacific Northwest, EQ Office.

Owned and operated by Oliver Stormshak and brothers Sam and Andrew Schroeder, Olympia Coffee is an Olympia-based roaster with a history grounded in its quality-of-life mission. Now recognized as a B Corporation, Olympia Coffee currently has six cafes and a bakery located across Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle, plus a thriving network of wholesale partners across the country.

Oliver Stormshak, President and CEO of Olympia Coffee, commented, “We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our inaugural Olympia Coffee location in downtown Seattle, nestled within the newly opened Cedar Hall. This prime spot promises to be an exceptional destination for both locals and visitors to the vibrant heart of the city. Our presence at Cedar Hall marks our commitment to introducing our distinctive ‘Quality of Life’ coffee experience to the esteemed coffee culture of Seattle, inviting everyone to indulge in the richness of flavor and the warmth of community that defines Olympia Coffee.”

Olympia Coffee joins existing USBC retail tenants including U.S. Bank, Simone David Barbershop, Jimmy Johns, and Sushi Kudasai. Additional new retailers are expected to be announced soon including national, regional, local retail and food and beverage partners, with an emphasis on homegrown, Seattle-born businesses.
