Law Firm of Cerri, Boskovich & Allard, LLP Launches as a Sexual Abuse Law Firm

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Attorneys Lauren Cerri, Mark Boskovich and Robert Allard announce the launch of Cerri, Boskovich & Allard, L.L.P. The new law firm will specialize in representing survivors of sexual misconduct.

“We have worked together for over ten years as a legal team,” Cerri said. “It was only natural that we continue with our commitment to sexual abuse survivors.”

Allard, Boskovich, and Cerri have achieved groundbreaking results for clients in national and local sexual abuse cases.

Allard is best known for the litigation he commenced against USA Swimming in 2009, which served as the launching pad for the exposure of the sexual abuse epidemic that plagued the Olympic movement for decades. Through his work, awareness of predators in sport has increased drastically, athlete protection systems nationwide have been greatly strengthened and an independent body in the form of the United States Center for Safe Sport was created to address sexual abuse claims.

Cerri’s $65 million sexual abuse jury verdict in a case against a public school district was at the time believed to have been the largest single plaintiff verdict ever in California.

Boskovich handles the firm’s athlete abuse and trucking cases. He was honored in 2022 by the Marin County Trial Lawyers Association for a $10 million jury verdict on behalf of a high school tennis player sexually abused nearly two-decades ago. He also shared the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2023 for his work in a Marin County wrongful death case.

Cerri, Boskovich and Allard have been at the forefront of advocating for stronger laws to protect children from sexual abuse and improving child protection systems within various institutions. These efforts have led to more robust screening, training, and reporting mechanisms, demonstrating the law firm's commitment to eradicating childhood sexual abuse. Their work in the Audrie Pott case resulted in "Audrie's Law," which expanded the legal definition of "rape" in California and set a new precedent in legal protection for the vulnerable.

“Our law firm will continue to be one of the only firms in the country with a dedicated team of attorneys and professionals who focus entirely on advocating for sexual abuse survivors and their families,” Allard said.

The new firm is a spin-off of Corsiglia, McMahon & Allard. Former partner Brad Corsiglia will join the new firm in an Of Counsel position.
