VISO TRUST Hosts “Navigating New York State Cybersecurity Regulations for Hospitals”

Webinar Will Provide Cybersecurity, GRC, IT and Third-Party Risk Professionals with Guidance on New Proposed Legislative Mandates for New York Hospitals & Healthcare Organizations.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VISO TRUST, a pioneer in AI-driven third-party cyber risk management (TPRM), will host the webinar “Navigating New York State Cybersecurity Regulations for Hospitals” on December 14, 2023, at 2 pm ET in response to new cybersecurity regulations for New York hospitals proposed by New York State Governor Kathy Hochul.

The regulations would require hospitals to:

  • Appoint a Chief Information Security Officer,
  • Implement defensive infrastructure,
  • Conduct regular cyber risk analyses,
  • Develop secure software, and
  • Develop incident response plans.
