Rohit Thapliyal Joins Academy Securities as Managing Director, Head of Medium-Term Notes

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Academy Securities, a registered broker-dealer, certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), today announced the addition of Rohit Thapliyal as Managing Director, Head of Medium-Term Notes.

Mr. Thapliyal brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Academy Securities, joining the firm by way of Citigroup where he managed the investment grade medium-term note business for North America. Throughout his career he has demonstrated a keen understanding of market dynamics, a commitment to client success, and a track record of driving strategic initiatives. Mr. Thapliyal will be responsible for all medium-term note origination and trading while leveraging his extensive background in capital markets.
