Community Resource Fair aims to connect more than 1,000 local families to FREE community services

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It’s time for Port Houston’s annual Posada Free Community Resource Fair! For a second straight year, Port Houston will host this seasonal Posada to connect local communities to more than 35 incredible non-profit organizations focused on healthcare, community services, job, and workforce development resources.

This year’s 2nd Annual Posada Community Resource Fair takes place in Galena Park at the Alvin D. Baggett Community Center on Saturday, December 9, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. More than 1,000 families are expected to attend this free event.

In addition to free, on-site health screenings, food distribution, and job opportunities, attendees will enjoy local music & entertainment, prize giveaways, a Kids Corner, and fun holiday activities for all ages.
