Suffolk Hires Gaming Construction Veteran Chris Creasey to Strengthen Its Positioning for Continued Growth in Strategic Sector

Innovative contractor’s commitment to sector diversification and strategic Centers of Excellence allows the organization to leverage its building construction experience and client relationships nationally; newly-hired vice president of Gaming will bolster firm’s leadership position and client relationships in the gaming, resorts and hotels sector

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Suffolk, one of the largest and most innovative real estate and construction enterprises in the country, has announced the addition of Chris Creasey as Vice President of Gaming. In this role, Mr. Creasey will leverage his deep knowledge of the Gaming industry, maintain and cultivate relationships with tribal leaders and independent developers, and establish Suffolk as the national builder of choice for world-class resort and gaming properties.

Mr. Creasey comes to Suffolk after more than 23 years at Tutor Perini, where he worked on iconic hospitality and gaming projects with Native American and commercial clients throughout the country, including Pechanga Resort and Casino and Chumash Casino Resort in California; CityCenter and The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas; Mohegan Sun Casinos and Resorts; and Seminole Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos.

With more than $5 billion and 10 million square feet in casino and hotel projects completed to date, Suffolk’s Gaming Center of Excellence has managed construction for some of the most iconic hotel and casino properties across the country, including the groundbreaking 450-foot guitar-shaped Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. The high-rise project includes more than 2 million square feet across 36 floors of hotel rooms and spaces including luxurious villas, a casino area and a 6,500-seat entertainment venue. Suffolk also managed the preconstruction and construction services for the 3.2 million square foot Encore Boston Harbor, America’s first five-star urban gaming resort, the Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, and the Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown, California.
