PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Developer Infinity Real Estate, a wholly owned business unit of Infinity Collective, and its general contractor, HC Pody Construction Co., announced the “topping off” of 4701 Pine Street, a substantial newly constructed addition to the historic Garden Court Plaza in West Philadelphia. Designed by BLTa Architects, the 7-story, 198,000-square-foot tower will include 220 apartment units atop the existing parking garage and street front retail spaces. Located prominently at the corner of Pine and 47th Streets, the project is a significant enhancement to the neighborhood that bears the project’s name dating back to the 1920s.
“We are thrilled to be preserving and rehabilitating the historic portions of this iconic property, and growing its scale, amenities, and service offerings in one of Philadelphia’s most vibrant neighborhoods,” said Steve Kassin, Infinity Real Estate’s Managing Partner. “Our gratitude goes out to community leaders that partnered with us to make this project possible, to our design and construction teams and our stakeholders for their respective invaluable contributions, and to our current residents for their ongoing patience and support during the construction.”
The addition to the luxury residential rental complex will include 66 studios, 121 one-bedrooms and 33 two-bedrooms. Further, a comprehensive interior amenity package will feature co-working space, a fitness center, yoga and group fitness studio, media lounge, demo kitchen, children’s playroom, and bicycle storage. The outdoor spaces will boast large-scale communal spaces with pools, fire pits, grilling stations, a resident park, and dog run. Ample indoor parking will be available in a 2-level garage with a capacity of 260 vehicles.
Infinity Collective financed the project with a loan from Acore Capital, and has engaged Alterra Property Group to manage, market, and lease the building.
The project team consists of: Infinity Real Estate (developer), HC Pody Construction Company (general contractor), and BLTa (architects).
