Rivian Hires Georgia Plant Manager; Continues Progress on Georgia Operations

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rivian Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: RIVN) announced today that Arnhelm Mittelbach has joined Rivian as its first Georgia Plant Manager. This is a significant addition as Rivian continues to progress on its second manufacturing facility that will be focused on the next generation of Rivian vehicles. Mittelbach started his role on November 1, reporting directly to Chief Operations Officer Frank Klein.

Mittelbach is an experienced automotive leader with more than 20 years tenure at Mercedes-Benz, including Plant Manager in East London, South Africa, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Vans in Charleston, South Carolina, and a variety of manufacturing leadership roles across Germany.
