HealthTrust Named Business Partner of the Year by HomeTown Health

Recognition Announced at HomeTown Health 2023 Fall Conference

Demonstrates Company’s Ongoing Support of Rural Healthcare Providers

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthTrust Performance GroupSM, a leading healthcare performance improvement company, was named Business Partner of the Year at HomeTown Health’s 2023 Fall Conference on October 18-20 in Pine Mountain, Georgia for the company’s ongoing support of rural hospitals and health systems.

HomeTown Health’s Business Partner of the Year award recognizes organizations that demonstrate extraordinary support, customer service excellence, and commitment to rural facilities and their goals. For more than 20 years, HealthTrust has worked with HomeTown Health, a network that includes more than 130 small and rural hospitals, healthcare providers and business partners, to support these organizations in providing high-quality, accessible and competitive care.

“In rural communities, healthcare providers play a vital role in providing essential services to those who otherwise might not have easy access—making it critical to support the providers in these communities to ensure the delivery of quality and reliable healthcare,” said Andrew Lane, vice president of member services at HealthTrust Performance Group. “At HealthTrust, members have access to the same offerings, resources and performance improvement structure no matter their size or location. We are proud to receive this recognition and applaud HomeTown Health’s dedication to helping rural healthcare providers thrive.”

At the conference, HealthTrust also served as the keynote sponsor, which provided attendees the opportunity to hear from Genevieve Everett-Sigwalt, M.D., FACC, FHRS, specialist in electrophysiology and cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hospital System, for a session on “Artificial Intelligence in Rural Healthcare.” Dr. Everett-Sigwalt also spoke at the 2023 HealthTrust University event in a session titled “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: An Interdisciplinary Look at the Use of Devices.”

HomeTown Health’s 24th Annual Fall Conference featured networking opportunities and breakout sessions for rural hospital and healthcare attendees on topics including swing bed management programs, rural health clinics, building rural resiliency and revenue cycle, as well as a Georgia Rural Hospital CEO roundtable, town hall and additional education sessions.
