Breathe Right® Teams up with Football Hall of Famer, Jerry Rice and Standout College Wide Receiver, Brenden Rice to Carry on the Legacy of Better Breathing

Early Breathe Right Nasal Strips Adopter, Jerry Rice and Son Recreate Iconic Breathe Right Ad from the ‘90s

Brenden Rice is Following in His Father’s Footsteps – On and Off the Field – in New Campaign

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Foundation Consumer Healthcare (FCH) today announced a partnership with legendary football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice and his son, standout college wide receiver Brenden Rice. The father-son duo is partnering with FCH this football season to spotlight the potential benefits and uses of Breathe Right® nasal strips.

“People often associate Breathe Right with just snoring relief. But I know firsthand that the strips can be used in all sorts of situations. For me, it was on the football field or while training." – Jerry Rice

The #1 pharmacist-recommended nasal strip, Breathe Right, is drug-free and works instantly to open your nose for nasal congestion relief you can feel right away. Widely regarded as the greatest wide receiver in football history, Jerry was an early adopter of Breathe Right nasal strips and started using them during football games in the early ‘90s to help relieve nasal congestion. In fact, Jerry served as a Breathe Right spokesperson for many years. Jerry is now passing on his football – and Breathe Right – legacy to his son, Brenden, who uses the nasal strips for nasal congestion relief on the field, when training, and during sleep.

“People often associate Breathe Right with just snoring relief. But I know firsthand that the strips can be used in all sorts of situations. For me, it was on the football field or while training,” Jerry Rice said. “I’m thrilled to once again be working with the brand, this time alongside my son, Brenden, who is paving his own path as a player, but has become a Breathe Right user like me.”

Jerry’s legacy goes beyond his record-breaking football career, making this campaign with his son even more special. Working together for the first time on a brand partnership, Jerry and Brenden will be creating a series of content to help educate people that Breathe Right nasal strips can relieve nasal congestion so they can breathe better just about anywhere. In partnership with FCH, the duo hopes to highlight the potential benefits of adding Breathe Right nasal strips into their routine, whether it be during work, rest or play. To officially kick off the campaign, Jerry and Brenden recreated the iconic “Air Jerry” Breathe Right ad, thereby commemorating Jerry’s history with Breathe Right and showcasing how he and the brand have evolved over the subsequent years.

“I’ve seen the ad of my dad wearing Breathe Right so many times, and now it’s really cool to be following in his footsteps and working together on this partnership with Breathe Right,” said Brenden Rice. “Breathe Right has come so far since my dad's football days. They’re now available in multiple sizes and strengths. My personal favorite is the Lavender strip, especially for sleeping, but you’ll likely see me on the field with Extra Strength Tan. I also love that the strips are drug-free and offer nasal congestion relief for up to 12 hours, which is perfect for me as a busy student athlete.”
